I came to Blake with 22 years of playing bass (7 pro), an undergrad degree plus graduate work in upright bass, 10 years of guitar playing with some college level work, but I had no foundational guitar work. Blake met me where I was and gave just enough material to work on with enough freedom to explore the sounds I like within exercises. It’s the first time in many years that creativity, exercises and exploration have met, and that’s where I feel myself growing as a musician. Blake teaches in a way that makes you hungry for more – can’t recommend him enough for all levels!
